EXAMPLES OF SALE BUCKS, THEIR DATA and TYPE
CHOOSING THE RIGHT BUCKS FOR A JOB is very difficult to do visually, however expert you are, particularly from a big line-up of similar animals. And there are invisible genetic types that suit some purposes and are unfavorable to others, so using bucks without genetic progeny testing data is one of the biggest risks to herd development, turn-off and profitability.
Dudauman bucks come with data on structure, growth, muscling, reproduction and worm resistance to help with that choice. To illustrate, below is information on seven example bucks from the line-up that will be for sale at St George on Tuesday 19th October. It helps to work out what each buck could and couldn’t do for your herd. Data on the rest will be available early in October.
